| Program Notes: | Telecron Chime is a thank you note to friends Richard and Mary King who helped support the creation of Ohio Entelechron in many ways. Telechron was an early version of the name and a key musical motive, but then I discovered it had been used as a brand name for a clock and decided to complicate the meaning of my work by extending its resonances through a combination of entelechy, teleportation, and chronometry. The resulting grand concept of Ohio Entelechron, a teleportation utility, promises to provide the Ohio region with "continuous service in all dimensions." |
