It is a highly compressed larger work made to fit into a rather small space and at it's center incites my piano work An Armory of the Heart into a fine frenzy. The ending is a textbook definition of Zahabianism. The first performance was given by David Russell, 'cello and Robert Frankenberry, piano with the composer, violin in New York City at Saint Peter's Church, Chelsea, on June 3rd 2000. RZ |
