| Program Notes: | Ohio transparence was written for Robert Frankenberry and David Russell as a parallel transparence to an earlier trio called not later, which is also dedicated to these wonderful musicians. The section titles are cross-references to my vast multimedia project Ohio telechron, a rapid transit device which uses various kinds of Time to explore the connections between identity, history, and community. The first performance was given by Robert Frankenberry - piano, David Russell - cello, and the composer - violin on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at St. Peter's Church in Chelsea, New York City.
