| Program Notes: | Since Jim Cassaro asked for a fanfare for the opening of the Atlantic Chapter of the Music Library Association's joint meeting with the Society of American Musicin Pittsburgh, March 2007, I decided to highlight a few of our brass players. Accordingly the first performances of some notes of welcome were given on February 28 and March 1, 2007 by the players it was written for: Matthew Taylor, Samyra Roder & Will Bowers, trumpets and Brandon Eberly and Ernie Larson, trombones. |
