| Program Notes: | In the moment was commissioned by the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, for their exhibit: Small Prints, Big Artists: Masterpieces from the Renaissance to Baroque. I chose five works (The Drawbridge by Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Horatius Cocles by Georg Pencz, Prudentia after Pieter Brueghel the Elder engraved by Philip Galle, The Prodigal Son Returns to His Father's Home by Hans Sebald Baham, and Canalleto's Mestre). The set is inscribed to Lucy Stewart. |
