| Program Notes: | Written in Little Rock, Arkansas 20-24 May, 1992 during a particularly empty time at the Wildwood Festival, the three-minute work (if only it had been longer I could have called it a Stone Mass) is by contrast to that empty time packed with incident and anecdote. The ghost of Claude Vivier may be said to hover over the last section. |
