Program Notes: | Winter Dance People dance on even the coldest winter nights, and the warmth and companionship sustain us through many a storm. This work is dedicated with pleasure and admiration to David Del Tredici and was first performed on February 4, 2003 in Bellefield Hall Auditorium at the University of Pittsburgh by the Music on the Edge Chamber Orchestra under the direction of the composer.
