Program Notes: | A Chair for Telemann was written for my student Dan Anderson both for his entertainment and to assist in the study of double stops. The title refers to a comment Philippe Herreweghe made in a magazine about the music of Telemann, and this Chair is built to help with a difficult moment in a Telemann Fantasia (the one in b flat...) a recent performance in Cleveland |
